Want to keep it simple and take the easy way to search the databases in the UvA library? Then use the UBA quick search bar, a useful toolbar which can be installed for Internet Explorer or Firefox.

Type your search term once and then search the UvA catalogue, the Digital Library, PiCarta, UvA-DARE (Digital Academic Repository) and other databases.  Or find something quickly in Wikipedia, Google or Google Scholar.

Last but not least, you can see at a glance if you have received new mail in your Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo mail account (or any other POP3-mail) and view the message with one click. And you can add more functions yourself.
