Borrowing and catalogue

You can use your student card to borrow publications, for as a student you are automatically a member of the library.

Looking for a book or a journal? Use the UvA catalogue to check availability and location. Via the catalogue you can also extend your loan or reserve a title.

ILL
Not among the holdings of the library? An ILL*-account enables you to request books or articles from other libraries in the Netherlands (at a small cost). Books can be sent to the UvA library of your choice, articles to your home address. The first 12 euro’s (ca. 4 requests) are on the UvA.
