The UvA Library consists of the UB (Universiteitsbibliotheek or University Library) and a number of Faculty libraries, and offers all the facilities you need for your studies. Check it!

• Your student card is also your library card . This means you have 4 million books and 14,500 journals at your fingertips

• 24/7 home access to databases and full-text online journals in theDigital Library with UvAvpn

• Need help? Ask UBAcoach: 5 days a week from 9.30 to 17.00 accessible via chat, mail or telephone

• Wireless internet in (almost) all libraries with UvA wireless

• Studying in the UB? Study places are available from 8.30 to 23.45 on weekdays and during weekends from 10.00 to 18.00. In exam periods to 24.00 during weekends

• Not available? With ILL you can request books or articles from other libraries, without actually having to go there and the first 4x are free
  

• Forgot how to do it? The library offers demos and manualsand regular courses on Literature searches, and other subjects

• On the go? UBA has gone mobile. Check us out on your telephone
